She Grooms Melbourne - Brunswick dog grooming
  • A light walk with sniffs and smells is all that is required prior to a groom. Please do not over exercise your dog as they have to then stand and stay still for me to complete the groom.
  • Please ensure to toilet your dog before the groom, this is so your dog is comfortable and relaxed.
  • Please allow 3 hours per groom, If we need to extend this time due to behaviour or matting, the additional fees may apply.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet or person for any reason.
  • If your dog is aggressive and needs additional time a fee will apply, and we may have to cancel the groom for safety. A payment for the Full Groom will apply.
  • Matted Dogs – if your dogs is matted due to length of time in-between appointments. Then a seperate form will be required to complete, and additional fee for matting (*time required) will apply. *Severely Matted dogs an additional $50 on top of the full grooming price
  • Dogs are accepted for grooming if they are fit and healthy.
  • Grooming an elderly dog will be at the owner’s risk, with time needed for care an attention, this may result in a higher fee I can take time needed. I may ask the owner to help and be present at all times.
  • Grooming may expose pre-existing health / skin / ear conditions for which ‘She Grooms’ cannot be liable.
  • If a grooming accident happens during the dog groom, I will administer first aid. Depending on the incident with vet attention, I will complete an application for reimbursed vet fees and will be taken via my business insurance process under ‘She Grooms’ my insurer is MGA.
  • In the event of an emergency, in your absence, you authorise ’She Grooms’ to contact the nearest vet to treat the pet as necessary at your expense.
  • We do not perform ‘Ear plucking’, ‘Anal gland’ expression (this is a job for a vet clinic).
  • Lateness: We understand that traffic may delay you, we simply ask that you make a courtesy text / call.
  • Cancellation and re-scheduling of an appointment requires a 48 hrs notice to waive 50% of the appointment fee.
  • Payment: A card machine is available, this accepts all cards with a transaction fee of approximately 1.6%. Unfortunately, no Bank Transfer or Pay ID available at present. Cash is accepted.
  • A full service fee will be charged if less than 24hrs & for ‘no shows’ or cancellations.
  • We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a groom if we feel it necessary.
  • Please be courteous, arrive and collect your dog on time. Fees may apply for lateness after 60 minutes.
  • If you are a casual visitor and your dog is matted, or needs more time do to behaviour/ wriggliness or because you have not had your dog with a groomer for a while (I go off coat condition) then I will assess and quote.
