30 min hand-stripping consultation with your dog. This session is designed to hep you decide if this technique is right for your dog. I will help you understand the technique and how to do work at home in between sessions with me.

Handstripping is a traditional hand-pulling technique, where continued education is necessary. Handstripping offers many benefits, removing dead hair to enable new growth to come through, keeping their skin healthy, and the colour of the coat rich, with the production of natural healthy oils.
Each dog has different coat growth and needs, so we can discuss what is best for your dog.
Need to drop off early or pick up late? Price is discretionary, depending on time and reasoning for needing me to care for longer.
Pick up – you will be notified 30 mins before your dog is finished to pick up. I work one on one with your dog, with an approx 2 to 3 hour time slot for each dog. Naturally, this is dependent on the work required for each appointment.

An extra fee of (up to) $50 will be added to the groom price on the day for out-of-schedule or matted dogs; this is based on the time taken to provide much-needed care and attention.
Nervous or wriggly dogs (price to be discussed at the appointment). Price is dependent on time needed for additional care or even solo appointments (approx. $30 additional fee)
Cancellation Policy: As I work one-on-one, I require a minimum 48 hours’ notice on cancellations. This is so I can fill your spot with a dog in need of a haircut. I do charge the full fee for the groom if you cancel within this period or on the day. This is because I can’t fill your spot, and I choose to work in ultimate calmness for your dog.
20% surcharge for Saturdays; with limited availability for Saturdays in 2027.
